Salmon Season! Summer on Lake Ontario offers plentiful opportunities to catch Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho Salmon and Steelhead right outside our harbor entrance.
If excitement is what you’re after, our salmon season has it. These fish are known for their powerful runs and enduring fights. An adult King Salmon is a mere 3 1/2 years old but can easily weigh in excess of 15 lbs. This should tell you one thing…they need to eat! Climb on board and let us demonstrate the multiple trolling techniques used to fool these impressive fish.
