Fall 2016 Update

Another salmon season has flown by!  2016 will certainly go down as an interesting year, as we dealt with a drought in the area, leaving us with fewer fishing options than normal.

No problem here though!  We got creative and found plenty of biters through September and October, lots of rods moving and smiling faces on board this year.  A big thank you to all who spent time with me on the water and I am looking forward to our next excursion!

As I mentioned, we were experiencing a pretty rough drought through September and October...Until now!

The rain dancing paid off and we now have copious amounts of water at our finger tips.  I am incredibly excited for the next few months, we will have plenty of fishing options but I don't expect I will have to venture far from the Salmon River, the fishing should be outrageous!  

Judging from my observations while trolling Lake Ontario this summer, we should have a much stronger run of steelhead than the last couple years.  Couple that with fair water conditions and we are looking at one hell of a season.  Can't wait!

I still have some excellent November and December dates open, if you haven't booked some time on the water...Don't wait!  This is going to be a fantastic fall!
