Fishing Remains Killer...And Here Comes Fall!
Oswego, NY continues to produce great fishing.
Whether you want to chase Kings offshore or Brown Trout inshore, both have led to fun trips!
The Dixie Dandy has found kings from 120 feet of water all the way out to 500 feet of water, depending on conditions. Keeping a smorgasbord of A-TOM-MIK behind Michigan Stinger E-Chips has certainly been the most productive route, but mixing some larger spoons into your spread has been key as well.
Keeping a sharp eye on wind patterns has made locating bait and therefore fish easier, as well as making the decision to offshore or inshore to fish.
Brown trout seem to be pretty evenly distributed around port and a spread of spoons in the 50-60 degree water has been key.
I expect the fishing to only improve as more and more fish move in and ultimately begin to stage. Can't Wait!
If you are feeling the itch, we still have some prime days left open on the Dixie Dandy until we pull her out of the water in mid-September.
Also, keep in mind...Fall is on it's way!
Every day I am filling in more days through December, I am certainly looking forward to time in the drift boat!
There are some great dates available for night fishing kings, day fishing kings and plenty of great steelhead dates!
Please don't wait, I love seeing everybody on the water!
