Another Season On The Lake Has Come To An End...

To sum up this years trolling on Lake Ontario...tough stuff!

We hung in there on the Dixie Dandy and had plenty of successful catches, but boy did we work for them. 

This left many of us anglers scratching our heads (or having fits of depression and rage), wondering why?  I don't have a definitive answer, nor does any one right now.  Long winters? Maybe. Adverse Conditions? Could be! 

One thing is for certain, I do not believe there to be a shortage of Salmon.  Many recent days our fish finder was layered with good marks.  I am optimistic (as always) in the approaching river season.
